Linkage, dude

I'm taking tonite to post sommadem links I've been saving so I can delete the bookmarks. All links open in their own window. Lucky you.

Nomba one is the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Robots. Designed to uphold the rights of all intelligent, artificial beings. You're welcome, sacredsupd.

Gaia forums posted a copy of a church flyer: If your child is gothic, reform through the lord. According to the list provided, if five or more items are applicable you're in need of help. I found 20 that apply and I'm not even goth!

One brave girl is selling something on eBay every day of this year. Anything she can fit in a standard envelope and ship with a first class stamp from playing cards to gum wrappers are up for bids. 365 Days of eBay

And for those who wonder about the origin of pule on eBay, Rob of cockeyed.com has the answer. While you're there, check out the rest of his website. It's worth a few hours.

My birthday is coming up next month but I doubt I'll get an 18” poseable Cthulhu doll or a plush Deep One.

There are warning signs throughout life but not everyone pays attention.

There's something I need to ask you. Could you . . . would you . . . will you lick my Jesus? . . . Yeah, that's it. Oh, by the way, Happy Black History Month! And might I also recommend a few more?

Do you like burning things? Sure, we all do. The kind folks at redyak.com have a selection of videos devoted to setting things on fire so you don't have to. Yes, ping pong balls! Circus peanuts! Air fresheners! Tampons! All set ablaze for your exclusive entertainment! (Note: I was listening to Welcome to the Machine while previewing this link and it fely strangely appropriate.)

There is a live webcam on Loch Ness. I like to watch the sun rise over there when I'm online in the middle of the night. It's snowy there now. By the way, the patchy sheep is called Sheeba, the plain one is called Mavis!

There's a webcam on Mt St Helens too, but it's only visible during the day and updated every five minutes. Whenever there is notable activity, like during the semi-eruptions last October, they post a video of the event. Check out the one last week on Groundhog Day.

That ought to keep y'all busy.

So it looks like nobody I've been friends with since 2009 has been using LJ recently, which is kindof sad. Not that I've been part of the solution…

I'm pretty sure none of the people that followed me & commented on my posts use LiveJournal any more. If you still do, please comment. - E V I…
