Friday Five - Birthday

The Friday Five care of thefridayfive

  1. Do you really make wishes when you blow out the candles on your cake?
    Yes, I really do.

  2. Have any of the wishes ever come true, if yes?
    I don't remember many of my birthday wishes or if they come true or not but (& probably because) usually they are simple & easily granted. Wishing to be able to surround yourself with the same loved ones next year is a good one. But generally I'm very careful about what I wish for because the bad ones have a tendency to come true. O_O;;

  3. How do you feel about birthdays? (e.g., love the attention, just another day, don't want anyone to know my real age, etc.)
    I could take or leave birthdays & generally plan them as a personal day of simple pleasures. I enjoy the attention but don't often feel I deserve the special treatment (even if I do crave it.) I do have an ideal day already planned out but at present there's no way to make it happen so for now I'll keep it simple.

  4. Tell us a favorite gift you've received, or something you'd really like for your next birthday.
    My favourite gift is by far the surprise party my friends threw for me this year. But I hear tell of a Wizard robe coming my way when someone can find the time. For next year? I'd love to spend it with the woman of my dreams & by now you can probably figure out the final part of my question 3 answer.

  5. What flavor cake?
    Fuck cake. I want pie!
