03:00 pm: Attention students & former students of Mr. Fendrick!
The Lazzaro Signature Gallery is currently hosting an exhibit entiled "Boys and Their Toys" featuring a bunch of other artists but most notably Richard Fendrick. His works include airplanes! viking ships! comic books! mobiles! & more! A lot of the beautiful, wonderful stuff you got to make if you were fortunate enough to be in his middle-school art class. Plus, you can buy plans for his Cricket Plane & Viking Ship, all ready for cut-out & assembly.

The exhibit ends tomorrow, Saturday July 15th. The gallery is in Stoughton on the same corner as Scentiments & the Howard workshop. Come see it now while it lasts! (street address & other info in the above link)

Help me out -- was this the art teacher I had in 8th grade back when there was still a Middle School?

Dark hair, balding, beard, friendly, kind, soft-spoken, usually wore a shop apron. That's the guy.

I wish I could say I was this awesome artist now to prove it, but I have to say he was really inspiring.

Hey, I'm gonna post about tit but tonight while I was being all anti socail I manged part of the painting I'm working on. The space that I painted was only like 2" by 2" but it's the saddest face you'll ever see. I <3 Fendrick. That's the kind of art teacher I'm gonna be.
