03:30 pm: Giving head
Just a brief heads up on Evil Jim's availability this week. I'm out of work early today (as evidenced by this post) & will probably be there even less time tomorrow (Thursday) since there isn't really much left to do. This weekend, however, I will not be in town from Saturday afternoon to Sunday night as my family is visiting my Grandmother. I won't try to ask out of it because a few weeks ago I promised I would go & I only today remembered when Mom left a message on my machine. So, I'm sorry; no Rocky or Back to the Future for me.

That's about it. I have a few important phone calls to make this afternoon & then I have no real plans. I'll probably do some cleaning unless something comes up. (hint hint)

koriandrkitten & I are going to get together sometime soon & watch all three Back to the Future movies in one day since she has never seen any of them. It might have been Sunday were it not for my familial obligations.

Well... I guess the first one DID come out a year before she was born. And she was only like two and three or something when the second and third came out.

So, not only have I revealed Gemma's age, but how old I really am that I remember seeing the first movie, of all places, on HBO (or was it Showtime?) when I was five.

For me it was The Last Crusade, and one of those times was a double-feature with Star Trek V.

The would be the wonderful year of 1989, which also provided movie goers with other classics such as Batman and UHF ^_^.

Gack, you too?! I don't think I really understood the concept of cable channels at that age, but I have very distinct memories of wandering into the living room with it on the old gigantic console television and being fascinated by the DeLorean. :D

All I knew about cable was that there was this funny little box on the top of the TV that we'd have to give back occasionally because "it cost too much". Those periods were brief, but frequent enough to be maddening.

Now I have 800 digital channels and I almost never watch it. :p

Normally, I'd say "let's hang out" but really, I'm too exhausted and it looks like plenty of other people are more than willing and I'd rather not infringe upon that. Oh well. Hope you find something entertaining to do...
