Let the show B-gin

Nearly five o'clock & here I wait at the Northwestern University's bank of computer kiosks for the table to open to start taking tickets. With just an hour left before showtime I expected the place to be a bit more crowded but there is still plenty of time for a last-minute rush.

I have plenty of trail mix & fresh fruit this year, but I did pick up plenty of sweets at Mitsuwa on the way here. Hopefully my ginger cookes & maple flavoured marshmallows won't be too crushed to enjoy properly.

I'm going "stud" once again. I prefer not to look ahead to see what movies we'll be watching to make the experience seem more spontanious. Aparently I'm the only one so it has been a mild effort to avoid conversations of such. Somoeone from the Stomp Tokyo group passed out a sheet of alternate lyrics to a song that will appear in the first movie but as they make no sense out of context I think I'm safe.

Someone mentioned that in the past the B-Fest organizers have tried to get Mike Jittlov to come to one of these which would be tremendous. I hear he still has the original print of The Wizard of Speed & Time. I'd love to see that on the big screen again.

I'ma go back to poke around. When they finally do kick everyone out of the theater to take tickets it will get crowded & busy fast. I also still need an' 06 shirt before they sell out.

Wish me luck.
